Description

Bensedin is recommended for the treatment of anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms, muscle spasms, also sometimes can be used with other medications to treat seizures. It provides anxiolytic, sedative, anticonvulsant, central muscle relaxant effect. Bensedin can be used for delirium tremens treatment, insomnia treatment, for preparing for surgery as well as for epileptic seizures treatment especially to treat a condition known as “status epileptucus
Contraindications

Avoid the use of Bensedin in the following cases:

hypersensitivity to diazepam and any other benzodiazepines;
myasthenia gravis, severe chronic hypercapnia;
specifying a history of alcohol or drug dependence (except for acute withdrawal);
pregnancy – should not be used in the 1 trimester of pregnancy, except in cases of extreme necessity;
drinking alcohol.
